Strong head: Whom did the president personally escape from sanctions?

Kosovo was imposed on punitive measures after May 26th 2023, where violence had erupted in the north after the elected mayors there were trying to deploy to their offices.

From the issue of license plates to this 26 May episode, relations between Kosovo and its allies, especially the United States of America, were valued at the lowest point sometimes, as a result of the noncoordination of actions like the above mentioned in the country's north.

“Lofty sometimes is healthy because Kosovo's interests sometimes have to be protected with stubbornness, but the right moment should be chosen when a stubborn one is used.

If sometimes anyone wants to change borders, to defunct Kosovo, we have to stubbornly defend our Republic.

But if the things required by our partners are such that we do not risk these values or principles, let's not try to be stronger than we are and show that the co-ordination and cooperation we see as values.

Therefore, I have said that cooperation with our allies, I see as the value of never being a weakness or submissive”, Osmani says in the question of journalist Arber Vladhiu, whether it was our hardness, what led us to EU sanctions.

And another very interesting information was given by the President in this interview.

I'm not talking about anyone as an individual, I'm talking about my efforts as president and many of our friends have worked with many ambassadors of our country, our friends, the heads of EU states, countless calls, countless contacts and prevented much more severe measures for our country's citizens”, the president answers.
