Session for lifting Berisha's immunity, numerous police forces before Albania's Assembly

Today, the plenary hearing for the removal and immunity of former Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha will be held after the SPAK's request and after review of the issue at the Mandata Council.

Meanwhile, Berisha has warned protests before the Assembly. Given the warning numerous police forces have gathered before the Parliament, as there may be tensions.

Sources for Euronews Albania suggest that Socialist deputies have arrived in the country. Whether any of the opposition will be present at the hearing is unknown.
