Kosovo police have also seen increased alertness and police presence in the streets, road traffic controls aimed at preventing possible traffic accidents and incidents in traffic, thus appealing to all citizens of the country to respect legal provisions, traffic signs, and to abide by road conditions and not to conduct vehicles under the influence of alcohol.
Kosovo police have appealed with particular emphasis parents to be more careful and vigilant in preventing the irregular use of pyrotechnic means, especially from children, with the aim of avoiding the risk that might trigger explosives/fires.

Kosovo police committed to concrete operational plans for this weekend's holidays to go smoothly, without incidents

Kosovo police, as well as the previous years, have priority this year in addition to commitments in ordinary tasks aimed at creating a secure and calm climate, to increase its operational activities on the ground in order to ensure that last year's holidays are closed without incident, and to have a successful start of the new year 2024.
For managing the security situation during this period K has prepared operational command “The year's end, 2023 and the beginning of 2024”, where additional engagement of the Kosovo Police has been envisioned through this planning, increased police presence on roads and open spaces, in squares and locations where there are citizens' attendances, where prevention and combating negative phenomena and various criminal acts will be possible.
The company of preventative police measures to ensure that the holiday season passes without any incident will include taking legal measures against possible illegal action and combating negative phenomena that cause no stability in the country to any extent endanger order, calmness and public security, where the establishment of police presence will take place throughout the Republic of Kosovo, including sensitive areas specifically in those locations with mixed populations.
Kosovo police within the framework of this plan have also seen an increase in vigilance and police presence in the streets, traffic flows in traffic with the aim of preventing possible traffic accidents and incidents, thus appealing to all citizens of the country, to respect legal provisions, traffic signs, and to abide by road conditions and not lead vehicles under the influence of alcohol.
