Nenad Rassic: I hope the government approves the Association.

According to him, the approval of Association is in the interest of Kosovo.

I hope with great optimism this Government, or whatever it is to come, but this governmental concept that Kurt represents will accept an Association or Self-management. Because this is the right way and the European way... For the interest of Kosovo, it is to approve such an agreement”, he said on the “Diari” show in Tv1.

Rassic says the draft association status does not pose a threat to multiethnicity, sovereignty, nor the third level of governance.

I'm about to approve that, because as I said, there's no risk of multiethnicity, sovereignty, the third level of governance. I see only positive aspects. Such agreements, in terms of empowering the rights of different groups or communities, are absolutely a standard level in many European countries, so we have to understand and we can look at the number of other states. People there are living very well, although they speak many other languages”, he added.
