Otherwise, Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Information Arberie Nagavci has announced that by June 2024 she will start testing teachers who want advanced licenses.
Nagavci, at a media conference held on December 28th in Pristina, has said that teachers do not oppose this test that will enable career advancement or higher salary.
We have already finalised the legal infrastructure, administrative guidelines that enable testing teachers, we are in co-operation with the state Council for the License of Educators and our partners, even in the process of creating the guide, which will make clear all the procedures, criteria and whatever else is necessary for successful implementation of test”, Nagavci said.
The United Education, Science and Culture Union (SBASHK) opposes the idea of testing teachers as a way to re-license them.
