Local Serbs going to Serbia for vote, KFOR: Willing to Offer Security and Freedom of Movement During This Time

This KFOR report comes on the eve of elections to be held in Serbia, where Kosovo Serbs will turn to ballot boxes in there, as Kosovo has allowed their organisation within Kosovo's territory.
“KFOR is committed to taking all necessary measures in order to continue to provide a safe and secure environment for all communities in Kosovo and freedom of movement, during the election period; in line with its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999; at any time and impartially”, the announcement is said.
Under the Republican Election Commission's decision in Serbia, on December 17th, Serbs from Kosovo will be able to exercise the right to vote in Serbian border cities: Kill, Kursumli, Race and Tutti.
They voted in the same way in the April 3rd parliamentary and presidential elections, 2022.
