Hill: International observers discovered a range of shortcomings in Serbia elections

US Ambassador to Belgrade Christopher Hill has published a message on the case of elections in Serbia, where international observers have noted a series of irregularities in the process.

He also said it is important that Serbia work with international observers to address these issues.

In this message, Hill has also said that the US government expects continued co-operation with Serbia's government on issues of common interest.

This, of course, includes regional issues, but also Serbia's desire to become fully part of the family of Western nations”, Hill said on X.

He added that Serbia must do much to be ready for this journey, one of which is rule of law.

As Hill said, elections are a “test test” for democracy, and that's worth every country.
