Government rules out war categories from energy subsidies

Subvention of the current enjoyed now and many years, the Government removed them, as they say without warning.

“We are subvention for a portion of the electricity bill and we have noticed that it has issued a regulation that has distanced us, even though it is involved in the law, and past governments have applied this year it has made a decision and it has left us behind and so it has not even recognized us to announce membership to apply as a social” case, Gevdet Qeriqqi from OVL-KLA said.

Energy subsidies for these categories on the part of the Government took place at the annual KED base.

Therefore the disabled, the families of the martyrs, the victims of civil violence, will not be treated as separate categories, but only as ordinary citizens.

The government says all of these former beneficiaries have been able to apply to be part of the new provision for electricity subsidies for the Czech Families.

With the beginning of the new measure of electricity subsidies for Cenable Families, the call has been opened for all families who have less than 150 euros a month for a member to apply to take advantage of the subsidy. The move stresses that categories which were earlier given subsidies should apply through calls opened by the Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers. All families who are beneficiaries of social and pension schemes are encouraged to apply. While the family has less monthly income than the 150 euro/month threshold per member, then you qualify for subsidisation of electricity”, the Government of Kosovo announced.

Meanwhile, the disabled association says that with this, all categories of war have automatically been excluded from the possibility of profiting from the measure.

The smallest option of the disability is 225 euros, we are automatically excluded, there has been as a criterion to be below 150 euros in monthly income”, said War Invalid Association Chairman Fadil Shudaj.

The right to the cheaper electricity fee also guarantees the law on the status and rights of martyrs, disabled, veterans, members of the Kosovo Liberation Army, civilian victims and their families in his Article 9.

So given that, the disabled association says it is considering the possibility of suing Government for violation of the law. / ATV
