The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) have expressed disappointment with the level of additional riskiness for Kosovo Police members (PK), regardless of the latter's demands that this category be revised once again by the Government.
The AAK's PDK has said that KP members are desperate with their non-fulfillment and that the Government should take into account these requirements, especially for the Elite Units because, according to them, decades of investment has been invested and now must not be neglected.
PDK MP Ganimete Musliu said they have regretted that Prime Minister Albin Kurti's recent meeting with representatives of the Special Interview Unit has ended without agreement.
“I have been looking forward to the conclusion of the meeting because if any other meeting without a result of this government, without result from the meeting she had with the elite Kosovo police units. The Kosovo government does not move any steps towards realising Kosovo Police requirements, this is very painful and depressing, because our country's security” is at stake.
She said that on the part of the Government, there is an increase in the budget in the security sector, but according to her, the country's police are working without essential conditions and therefore are leaving work.
The government's <x0) ministers, but Prime Minister Kurti himself says we have a budget increase for this dictatorship, but if we say we have an increase in the budget of the Ministry of Order, and on the other hand, we have the Kosovo Police without shoes, and every day because of the demoturation this Government is doing to you, it shows enough of the job this is doing, she said.
AAK MP Time Kadrijaj has said the prime minister is destroying everything that has been built over the years, since it is failing to meet the requirements of the KK.
“Albin Kurti will destroy everything good that is in this country, has been misbehaved with war veterans if you misbehave with our elite, special units who are heroes of Kosovo. Because if these special units had not been the situation in the north, it would have been de-executed because of all the weapons that entered Kosovo, because of the large group of terrorists that attacked Kosovo”, she said.
Kadrijaj has said the country's police are the heroes of Kosovo, and the failure to meet their demands on the part of the government is overwhelming for them, EO reports.
“They are the heroes of Kosovo and we will not have to be allowed to let this government attack and curse them heroes. This is the same as that of Adam Yashhar, as with the reproach of the heroes and all the martyrs of the nation. This is a shame that this government is going on and the abuse that's been done with police salaries that aren't true because we know what the cofficient is and with a cofficiency of 105 euros there's no dignified salary for either a public institution”.
Weeks ago, members of the Kosovo Police Special Intervention Unit and the Explosive Tool Treatment Unit have protested in front of the Government of Kosovo building, demanding a revision of the endangerment at work, demanding that these additions be higher. /EconomiaOnline
