Northern Macedonia President Stevo Pendarovski has congratulated Albanian-language Alphabet Day, where he mentioned that the unification of this alphabet was an important step in the cultural and spiritual identity of Albanians.
“115 years ago right at our monastery the unification of the Albanian language alphabet as a key step in the Albanian language encoding, which is obviously one of the most important pillars of Albanian cultural and spiritual identity”, Pendarovx wrote.
He further said all Albanians enjoy the benefits of this cruise act.
“Powers of this economic political and cultural act enjoy all Albanians wherever they are. We are proud that today the Albanian community is an integral part of the multiethnic and multicultural Republic of Northern Macedonia”, the Macedonian president has indicated, broadcast Clankosova.
Pendarovks also congratulated once again on confirming common beliefs of solidarity and equality as key to the prosperity of the common homeland.
The decision to approve the Albanian alphabet resulted in the beginning of the 20th century, where prominent Albanian intellectuals from around the world gathered at the congress.
