Prime Minister Albin Kurti said Kosovo institutions have limited opportunities to influence the Special Court in The Hague.
Commenting on the decision to ban visits and phone calls for former KLA leaders, he said the government's influence is too small.
But Kurti added that along with the head of the Parliament, Glauk Konjufka, they are working in this direction.
The “certainly is about negative development, since families suffer, the loved ones of those who are being held in The Hague over three years. I learned this yesterday from Albanian MP Selimi, who is the wife of KLA General Rexhep Selimi, and we also discussed it with Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufka, this negative development. You know we have limited access to any influence, but of course we're thinking about how we can help”, Kurti said, reports EO.
The Hague Special Court's detention centre has banned all calls and visits to former KLA leaders.
