Hoxhaj: Kosovo was the factor of peace and stability in the Balkans, now with Kurti becoming the focus of security concerns

When you see today the positions of allies at the NATO foreign ministers' meeting in Brussels that Kosovo is the centre of their concerns and that they did not want to restore conflicts in the Balkans, one thing is clear, that Kurti Government's policy towards the north and dialogue is wrong, and the absolute lack of a foreign policy has turned Kosovo into a security problem! Instead of discussing Kosovo's membership in NATO and PfP today, the decision was made today on the arrival of additional troops for next year, since only this year NATO has increased the number of KFOR soldiers mostly after the declaration of independence in 2008!

From 2008 to 2020, Kosovo has followed an external policy as a factor of peace and stability in the Balkans, showing it is not consumer but exporter of security. A mixed policy, like this now of the government Kurti, feeling at times in ecstasy of triumphal and helpless times, did not know to use the geopolitical change that occurred after the war in Ukraine and the act of aggression on Kosovo on 24 September.
