Serbian media against the regime, “Novost”, reports that the five European diplomats will go with ultimatum at the meeting, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq.
As claimed, the European, American, German, French and Italian emissary will require Serbia to accept the European plan for the final agreement, or face sanctions.
But in addition to sanctions, there is also a report of a difficult “movement” by international powers.
Vuciq, according to this report, has met with the patriarch Porifirije to inform him about these developments.
The meeting is expected to take place in the afternoon, and by 5 o'clock the media conference has also been warned.
In a brief press proposal, Lajcak, after meeting with Kurti, praised it as difficult but sincere discussion.
According to him, the discussion focused on the proposal for normalisation of relations, which was proposed in September and then in December, known as the Franco-German plan.
All these powers are placed behind this record. And of course, the purpose of this meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti was to discuss the proposal for normalising the relationship we presented in September and then in December. We spent more than two hours with the prime minister, which shows that the meeting was over, was not easy, but was very sincere and very open. It is too early to say a dramatic statement” said, among other things Lajcak said after the meeting.
Lajcak's goal seems to have been not so well separated from the meeting with Kurti as he said he has expected more understanding of the possibilities offered by the Franco-German proposal, which is now Brussels' proposal. In a sentence, Lajcak hints he is criticising Kosovo's prime minister, as he claims he has expected more understanding.
“We are in the midst of our mission, we will continue for Belgrade. There's much I can say. However, what I can say at this point is that we have expected more understanding of the possibilities offered by this proposal. I hope that we will get there to full understanding and full use of the possibilities of this proposal. We'll keep working on this. ” he praised.
