Vucinac for Kosovo: I'm on foot, we don't expect any big deal.

When in question is the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, prefers to take small steps in this direction, rather than the issue end once and for all through a major agreement that would include recognition of Kosovo by Serbia. We need to change the situation on the ground by steps [...]
We need to change the situation on the ground with small steps, build confidence between the two sides and then see how we can approach anything else. We should not dream of something that we all know will not happen”, Vuciq said in an interview for American prestige Bloomberg
Vuciq during the interview has expressed gratitude to official Moscow for its support regarding Kosovo.
Also, according to “Bloomberg”, the reason for Serbia's position is that it buys gas from Russia at lower prices than market prices.
Vuciq said Serbia's membership in the European Union is the ultimate goal, but that Serbia still refuses to impose sanctions on Russia and join the Union's European foreign policy.
However, it would be a mistake to assume that our government fully supports leadership in Moscow”, Vuciq noted.
“We are not always enthusiastic about some of their positions”, Vuciq said.
“We have traditionally good relations, but that does not mean that we support any decision or most decisions coming from the Kremlin”, the president of Serbia said.
Vuciq has said in an interview for “Bloomberg” that he hasn't spoken to Russian President Vladimir Putin in months.
“We have said from the beginning that we are unable and that we cannot support Russia's attack on Ukraine”, Vuciq said.
“For the Crimea is part of Ukraine, both Donbas and thus will remain”, Vuciq said and added that the worst “has not yet come” for both sides in the conflict.
