The Independent Supervisor Council for the Kosovo Civil Service has illegally praised Prime Minister Albin Kurti's decision to dismiss Agency for Emergency Management (AME) director Fadil Kodra.
Under the KPMSCK decision, the government is obliged to restore Kodra to a medium-level leadership position under the Civil Service.
The news has confirmed Faton Fetah, the lawyer engaged by the former director of the Agency for Emergency Management.
Fetah has said of Paparac that he has accepted the verdict Tuesday.
On July 14th of last year, Fadil Kodra was dismissed from the position of director of the Agency for Emergency Management (AME).
Fadil Kodra has served as the head of the agency managing fire units since 2010, when he was appointed to this position by the government “Thaçi 117x1>. For seven years, Kodra served as chief executive of the Emergency Management Agency, meanwhile in the past five years has exercised the position of the General Director in the agency.
According to the official description, the AME mission is citizens' support to prepare, protect and react to all possible risks, mainly natural ones.
The director dismissed from office is familiar to Ilaz Kodra, commander of the 114th Brigade of the Kosovo Liberation Army, which ran heroicly during the fight for Kosovo's liberation on 30 April, 1999.
