“Pray to God”, Rugova's writing on June 12, 1999

On the 17th anniversary of the life apart from the life of former President Ibrahim Rugova, our readers are returned to one of the most memorable memories of our history of fighting for freedom and liberation.

This is “Supplicating Lord” written by Rugova on June 12th 1999, on the day of the country's freedom when Serbian forces were finally leaving Kosovo, and Albanians were waiting with flowers and hugs to freedom fighters and its allies, NATO, top of the United States.

Through this prayer, former President Rugova prayed and thanked God for returning Albanians to their land.
