Four criminal redflower is expected to soon assume the institutional seal for symbol of genocide in Kosovo.

The chairman of the “Genocide Centre in Kosovo-Open Plaga”, Bardhil Mahmut, shows that 14 municipalities have already adopted this symbol.

Murder, sexual rape, ethnic cleansing and the destruction of objects related to ethnic affiliation and Albanian identity are the four petals of poppies presenting forms of genocide acts. In the meantime, the black center represents children, elders, women, and men.

In the Kosovo interview, Bardhil Mahmut says the genocide is neither forgiven nor forgotten and that it is necessary for family members to enjoy justice.

“The issue of genocide crime that took place in Recak on January 15th 1999 mobilised international diplomacy, especially those circles that have weighed in international relations so that the issue of Kosovo can be put into place by day. Find a solution to complete the genocide policy Serbia applied to Albanians. An extremely large role in media internationalisation of genocide in Recak has had the responsibility of international observers at the time, who was William Walker”, he relates.

He adds that January 15th is the day of commemorating any crime Serbia committed in Kosovo, for which Albanians are living in pain.

“All crimes of genocide that have been committed throughout Kosovo, before January 15th, and the following after January 15th, are crimes that hurt in our souls. Everyone has a great pain for all crimes and no scales, what crime is greater or smaller. The question of what reason Kosovo's Assembly decides that January 15th will be a day of memory of genocide is the very role and great effect it has had on the international scene, because this is what international media media say we have interference and the completion of the genocide policy in Kosovo. For us, January 15th is exactly that day of great pain”, he adds to Kosova Preress.

The head of the “Genocide centre in Kosovo-Open Plaza” also speaks of the initiative of the symbol of genocide in Kosovo, where it shows four forms of genocide presented in poppies.

This genocide must also have the symbolic aspect. We've selected a four - petal symbol, it's an artistic creation of Adnan Asllan, who not by chance extracts the four - pethal poppie, because the four petals have enormous significance. It is not just chance to distinguish in the petal from the form of poppy people who have used different peoples of democratic countries. From the United Kingdom, Canada, Scotland, New Zealand to the United States. These four petals of the symbol that we've proposed represent four forms of genocide -- whether of men, women, children, all murders enter one petal. The second issue is sexual violence that comes under the definition of genocide with international criminal rights norms. The third form is ethnic cleansing that any Albanian who has been expelled from Kosovo views himself as a survivor. The fourth form is the destruction of everything related to the ethnic, cultural identity of Albanians”, Mahmut claims.

Furthermore, it shows that there is great support from many personalities inside and abroad for this symbol to have the institutional seal.

We have information that other political forces will soon arise, and this issue will also be initiated in the Kosovo Assembly, to close and have a symbol that will truly identify the genocide issue in Kosovo... In most Albanian municipalities in Kosovo, which have been able to put the issue in order by day, 14 larger Kosovo municipalities have unanimously approved”, Mahmut concludes.

For a footnote to the Day of genocide in Kosovo, candles will be lit tonight at 7:30 in “Square. Skenderbeu” in Pristina. Lighting candles will be organized in other cities as well.
