On February 5, 2023, the Law on Salaries goes into effect.
Public institutions, independent agencies are sending pay lists to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Public Administration for each public official.
The proportion of the positions of public officials under the Law for Salaries has made the classification of positions, where for each position the cofficiency is defined.
IKD to date we've received dozens of complaints from public officials, with special emphasis from independent agencies and constitutional institutions, where the appointment of public officials is not being assigned according to additions/cathalog, but it's served in a fountain of wish, depending on how close you are to the chief or the connections that you have with the chief and the cofficiency grows.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs needs to be vigilant and carefully examine the accepted lists so that the Law for the Salaries can be implemented fairly, and there can be no discrimination of public officials.
As it is, in order for this process to be transparent it would be welcome for public institutions to be accepted to be open to the public in order to expose top public officials who first try to accommodate the interests of a small group of their close friends.
Transparency and accountability ensure that the law on wages is implemented fairly and avoids the possibility of uneven treatment and eliminate discrimination.
