This award was shared with motivation for significant contributions to the Avocation of Kosovo's cause to the European Parliament, the Council of Europe and the European Union, in general, and inadequate support for international recognition of Kosovo.
The award- honoured Mandl has recalled a friend's words about Kosovo.
A few years ago, a colleague from Bulgaria, standing with him in front of a hotel in Pristina, we were looking at the night sky”, the Mandl confession began.
“Now I'm quoting him when he told me that Kosovo is an EU and US baby, and therefore we should take care of our baby”, he added.
Mandl said he knew what he wanted to say and that this is true today.
Lucas Mandl's contribution to the state-run processes of the Republic of Kosovo, the Avocation of Kosovo's cause to the European Parliament, the Council of Europe and the European Union, in general, invaluable support for international recognition of the Republic of Kosovo was appreciated by the Ministry of Education and others present at the ceremony.
