Thus confirmed in a communiqué issued by NATO, where it says that in the first part of January 19th, NATO defence chiefs will meet with operational partners within KFOR and will discuss the situation in Kosovo and the KFOR mission.
At the first session of the second day, the defence chiefs will meet with their operational partners of the Kosovo Forces (KFOR) Armenia, Austria, Finland, Ireland, Moldova, Sweden, Switzerland, and Ukraine. Discussions will focus on the situation on the ground, the security environment and KFOR mission”, said the communique.
The mission in Iraq will then be discussed and the establishment of NATO capacities there with operational partners such as Sweden, Finland and Australia.
“Military Committee will then discuss the non-war mission and the establishment of NATO capacities in Iraq with their operational partners Sweden, Finland and Australia. Defence chiefs will discuss the mission's continued efforts to assist Iraq in promoting greater stability, building its security and defence institutions and rooting out terrorism”, the communiqué points out.
