Court rules: A month of detention for Azem Kurtay, suspected of wounding two young Serbs

Prescribed detention measure against defendant A.K., suspected of three criminal acts

Ferizaj, January 8, 2023 The Foundation Court in Ferizaj .K., citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, has approved the request of Ferizaj's Founding Prosecutor, for the appointment of detention measures against defendants A.C., citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, on the grounds that he committed criminal acts in attempted attempted by Article 173 paragraphs 1 under paragraph 1.1, 1.5 and 1.11 concerning the use of the weapon or dangerous tool from us 367 paragraphs 1; due to the general risk of 356 paragraph of the Republic of Kosovo (160).

Following the hearing and analysis of the subject papers, the chief prosecutor of the Randa Crime Department's preliminary procedure has estimated that there is a well-based suspicion, that the defendant on January 6, 2023, in a village of the Shtrepca municipality, deliberately attempted to deprive him of life of M.S. and S.S., in a way that while moving with his car and arriving at the entrance of the village, notes some citizens on the edge of the road and with the aim of turning off the same trumpet, which moves away from the car and then the dispute takes place after the shooting of the gun and shooting it, the most likely to hit the home of the patient.

Also, at the time and place described as the highest defendant in opposition to the applicable law regarding weapons in Kosovo, he used weapons in that way, while he was in his car, fired into the direction of the M.S. and the S.S., which, as a result of the same shootings, suffer bodily injuries, in case of control conducted by the Kosovo Police, the weapon along with two rowers and 35 rounds of bullets seized.

There is doubt that on January 6, 2023 in the Shtrpce municipality, the defendant with the use of weapons has caused great danger to people's lives, in the manner that with his car unable to lock on the road leading to the Skiing Center, the same turns towards Shtrepca and pistols five times in the air.

The judge of the preliminary procedure, the state prosecutor's request for the appointment of the detention measure against the defendants, has approved it as a conform basis for KPPRK provisions, and the same has been assigned the detention measure in length of (1) months.

This case, the parties are reportedly complaining against this act did not postpone his execution.
