Tanner Alain was convicted because, between 2016 and 2019, he abused several young men from the club who were offered private sessions in his apartment “for strengthening muscles”. Besides staying in a cell for many years, he is forbidden to practice, work, or contact with children.

Alai's lawyer said he would not appeal the verdict. After seven days of trial, the Versailles Court has just convicted this former volunteer coach of the Magnanville football club. He has been found guilty of sexual assault on young footballers aged 13 to 18.
