The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhik, has said that oil per litre today costs 1 euro and 80 cents, while Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is taking 60 cents from citizens.
Abdixhiku asks why Prime Minister Kurti is not lowering the excise and taxes on derivatives.
“Today it's 1 euro and 80 cents, so three months ago we've asked to lower the excise and lower the VAT. Today it is June 7th, June 1st, Germany has dropped the excise for 35 cents and the effects have been immediate. What does this man do that doesn't lower the excise? I'm saying this isn't governing, there's no idea what he's doing”, Obadiah said at ATV.
He added that another 140 products depend on the price of oil.
The subx0>Nafta is now costing 1.80 cents and 140 other products depend on its price and this gentleman has his proposals on the table. Out of 1.80 cents of oil, Albin Kurti takes 60 cents from our citizens and doesn't bother to lower that 60 cents. The price of oil increases the price of each product today”, he added.
