The world's heavyweight champion had joined the Ukrainian Army in protecting its homeland from the Russian aggressor.
But then he announced that he has decided to start preparations for rematch with Anthony Joshua.
However, Oleksandr Usik and his wife, Yekaterina, have not forgotten those who remain in Ukraine and are in constant contact with their remaining relatives.
A couple's neighbor reported to the boxer's wife that their home at Worzel, near Kiev, was occupied by Russian soldiers. That was just days after the boxer left Ukraine to prepare for the match with Joshua.
Yekaterina via account in “Instagram” announced that the house was occupied by Czech and Russian soldiers and that tanks and other military vehicles were located there.
