Police interview medical personnel and witnesses for the death of 56-year-old Lipjan

A 56-year-old man from Lipjan died yesterday in CKUK. He was brought from the QKMF to Lipjan in serious health.

Police in the 24-hour report have provided further details concerning the case, where the victim allegedly passed away as a result of medical neglect.

“From QKUK has reportedly been reported that the Kosovo male victim who was brought from the family medicine center in Lipjan has passed away. The investigative units have interviewed witnesses and medical personnel. At the prosecutor's decision, the victim's lifeless body has been sent to the IML for obdusion”, the police report said.

The media reportedly had asked for medical help in the QKMF in Lipjan, but there was no appropriate treatment, since the doctor had not conducted the ECG examination.

After the case reported in the media, the municipal director of Health in Lipjan has suspended general physician Faruk Gashi from work, since the same one neglecting his job has turned a patient back and has not examined ECG by lying that the device is out of place.
