White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki has told CNN that Beden has been talking to Zelensky for 35 minutes.
Shortly before Russia's president, Vladimir Putin, has signed decrees to recognise the independence of the two Ukraine regions controlled by separatists backed by Russia, the one of Donetz and Luhansk.
I've discussed the recent events with President Joe Biden. We'll start meeting the National Security and Protection Council. Also scheduled is a conversation with the prime minister of Great Britain, Boris Johnson”, wrote Zelensk on Twitter.
