Kosovo membership in the Council of Europe is approaching!
In the Council of Europe, in Paris, I am participating in two committees: the Committee for Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development, as well as the one for Equality and Antidiscrimination.
In these committees, I addressed issues that concerned the need for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, while also presenting policies and issues that are of the interest of this institution.
At the Committee for Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development addressed the need for stronger support for Kosovo in the electricity sector. There is no logic that Kosovo is the richest coal country, while required by this country not to have investments in coal and not be helped. If we have to preserve the environment, we also need the support of international institutions, particularly European ones.
It is a pleasure to be a representative of Kosovo and to address topics that help the citizen of Kosovo. Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe is approaching. I believe that very soon Kosovo will be part of this institution, in particular knowing that Russian influence is declining.
