Reuters for the new draft: Kosovo-Serbia final agreement less than a year

The European Union has drafted a proposal for normalisation of reports between Kosovo and Serbia, with a clear deadline of action, according to a senior EU diplomat, who has spoken to the news agency “Reuters” in the margin of the EU-Western Balkans Summit held in Tirana on Tuesday. There's a lot of things that make this big money in terms of the current situation... it's not complete recognition... but full normalization of relations”, the diplomat said under anonymity.
As writes “Reuters”, the final agreement with Kosovo remains a precondition for Serbia to join the EU.
“After hearing the two sides, we re-entered the” proposal, the diplomat said.
The proposal also contains an annex “with a clear calendar of actions when and how things should be done”, the diplomat said.
The diplomat has said that Kosovo and Serbia “should continue constructive engagement and focus on irreversible progress towards normalisation”.
EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has confirmed at this summit that Kosovo and Serbia have submitted the new draft of the proposal, based on the plan known as “franco-German”.
