Report: Citizens' Trust in Government and Parliament

According to the report, the Kosovo Armed Forces and the Kosovo Police are the most reliable institutions from 1134 households as involved in a survey of the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies, released on Wednesday. The survey questionnaire “public perceptions of trust, corruption and the integrity of public institutions in Kosovo” for 2022 consisted mainly of closed questions in the five-point Lickert scale, followed by some open questions without predetermined options. The number of surveys conducted in each administrative unit has been taken based on state population records or on election Commission data.

63.8 percent of respondents fully believe in KSF. 18.8 percent believe it, while 8.1 percent have said they believe it to some extent. Only 5.6 percent have no faith in the Kosovo Army at all.

Meanwhile, 49.1 percent of people have said that they fully trust the police. 22.9 percent have said that they only trust them, while 16.9 percent have a degree of faith. 4.6 percent of respondents lack faith in the police.

They are followed by the presidency, with 35.8 percent of those who fully trust it. 23.2 percent we just trust him, and 14.7 percent to a degree. 17.7 percent have no faith in President Vjosa Osmani.

16.1 percent of respondents fully believe in the government led by Albin Kurti. 17.6 percent believe only, while 19.4 percent to a degree. 31.2 percent have no faith in Kurti Government.

9.1 percent fully trust the Kosovo Assembly. 16.1 percent believe it, and 27.2 percent to a degree. 30.3 percent trust the Assembly.

12.5 percent of respondents trust the prosecution. 17.3 percent believe it, 29.5 percent to a degree, and 20.1 percent believe nothing at all.

13 percent of respondents trust in the Court. 16.5 percent believe it, 31.3 percent to a degree, and 19.5 percent do not believe at all.

The margin of error is 3 percent, and the interval of credibility is 95 percent.
