In an interview for Bosnian television N1, Kurti said Belgrade would first admit that Kosovo wants association and that Serbia “wants association so Kosovo doesn't function”.
“They (Belgrade) would like Kosovo not to be a state, they would like a Serb municipality to be a state of Serbia within Kosovo. Their goal is destructive, they want nothing for Serbs in Kosovo, they want something against us”, Kurti said.
The government chief also said Kosovo is ready for an agreement with Serbia, which at the centre has mutual recognition, but, according to him, Serbia is not ready for that, while adding that Kosovo is a normal country, but not even Serbia, Periscope follows.
Kosovo is a more democratic country than Serbia, which is close to the Kremlin. In terms of economic growth, Kosovo is ahead of Serbia. In Serbia, the opposition cannot win, while in Kosovo we have proved such a thing could happen”, Prime Minister Kurti added. /Periscopi/
