General Kadri Kastrati, once former KSF commander, announced that from some very precise sources, he has received information Serbia has requested 7 to 8 Croatian Serbs, to be recruited to fight in Kosovo.
According to the former KSF commander they have rejected such a request, as he said, they have been asked to be carried to Kosovo.
I have very precise information from very precise sources, which Serbia has requested from 7 to 8 people in Croatia from the Serb community, to be recruited to fight in Kosovo. However, they have refused because the demand has been that they should quit working in Croatia and be transported to Kosovo. They're people who've been to police and other wars”, Kastrati said on the “diari” show in Tv1.
Kastrati even estimated that Serbia's state in an organised way is mobilizing people to make it as difficult, and that, according to him, could lead to the conflict between Kosovo and Serbia.
On the other hand, he said there is greater expectations towards the Kosovo Police and KFOR to stabilise the situation in the north.
“I am surprised that KFOR and Kosovo Police have waited so far, because the more they expect, the more the situation will exist there”, Kastrati added in Tvve1.
We remember that authorities in Kosovo have said they have the capacity to remove the barricades, but have given KFOR time to dismiss them peacefully.
