KFOR argued that it is important to avoid any new escalation and that issue be resolved peacefully, because according to KFOR, violence has no place in the region.
“KFOR remains extremely vigilant and fully capable of fulfilling its UN mandate.”, KFOR disclosed.
Otherwise, the overall situation in the north of the country remains the same. Roads to the Jarinje and Brnjak borders continue to be blocked, while shops and schools in the country's north are standing closed.
