Davenport made this statement after leaving the Serbian List of Kosovo institutions because of the license plates.
He has called on all sides not to allow disagreements on current issues to threaten what has been achieved in recent years.
“I call for pro-active political commitment from Pristina and Belgrade with the aim of achieving progress towards the full normalisation of their relations”, he said.
The strongest involvement in dialogue is essential for preserving interests as well as the safety and security of all”, Davenport said.
