Charge: It is said that he has brought a girl between 14 and 17 years of age, such as <x0Wra” from the Balkans to Jura Berese for each of his four sons. Here, for a decade and a half, father and sons abused women, according to this report.

The first victim was brought to Switzerland from Albania in 2003. The 17-year-old then knew her husband only by the photos, forced marriage between father-in-law was arranged. The young parents were promised that their daughter would have a better life in Switzerland. Another girl was only 14 years old, lived in poverty, and according to investigators, her parents sold her to tormentors for a sum of 300 euros.

Life's supposed best life soon turned out to be a trap. According to the indictment, 65-year-old Patriarch Albrahim F.* (The names have been changed by the newspaper) he instructed his sons exactly how to deal with their <x0). Women have been beaten, humiliated, threatened with death, isolated and repeatedly violated by family members.

More than 20 times he's been beaten up to”, says the indictment of one of the defendants: “even though he was pregnant, he has beaten the bride until she's bleeding and clutched her to her throat with both hands”. One of the victims was to wash his father - in - law and brother - in - law legs every evening. The charges cover 30 pages.

Women were rarely allowed to leave their homes alone, and they had virtually no contact with their families at home. They had to do housework from morning to night. After 16 years in Switzerland, one of the women could not speak her language, she was here illegally.

The victims are finally in a safe place

Lawyer Dominic Nellen represents two of the women in court and has accompanied them for three years. “Gras are well protected by the judiciary. You're in a safe place”, he says about Blake. The lawyer can't say anything about the ten children born on family to protect them.

Indictees Deny Any Sin

In 2019 women were finally able to escape after the first victim was taken to Switzerland. According to the indictment, a victim protection agency was involved.

The indictment also shows that none of the accused has spent more than a day behind bars. “Burrat denied doing anything illegal. Women agreed with everything”, says the victims' lawyer.

The accused face convictions, among other things, for human trafficking, forced marriage, physical injury, tribulation, rape, and child sexual acts. The required sentence will only be pronounced in court.
