U n EFA cut: If Romania refuses to play with Kosovo, it could be disqualified by preliminaries for EURO24

Romania's Football Federation announced on Monday that it will talk to the country's government to play with our National, Periscopi writes.

“Considering the fact that Romania and Kosovo had the opportunity to play in the same group in the qualifications for Euro2024, at a ceremony held on 9 October, and taking into account the geopolitical situation, Romania's Football Federation will talk to Romania's Government to find the best conditions for these matches, in which our representative team will face Kosovo in the I” group, the Romanian Federation of Local Media has said.

But, UEFA in a response to Nacional has said Romania risks disqualified by qualifications for the European Championship in the event it refuses to play with the National of Kosovo.

Article 30 of race regulations. UEFA points out:

<x0) U n EFA for Ethics, Control and Discipline can take additional disciplinary measures that are deemed appropriate for the federation in question, including disqualified from the” race, according to Article 30 of the UEFA Order.

We remember that Kosovo is in Group I with the Nationals like: Switzerland, Israel, Romania, Belarus and Andorra.
