“Rrafs 106 thousand and 287 young people are in this” category, says the ASS report “The Worker Power Anchor”.
Young people of this group (NEET) include young people who are not employed, do not attend school, nor are they trained, which means they are completely disconnected from the job market and do not participate in the education system either.
The high percentages of this group in the youth population raise concerns about youth employment in the future as it shows a break from the job market. In addition, a large number of young people not engaged in countries with high youth unemployment, such as Kosovo, can cause profit reduction due to increased competition, and possibly contribute to social problems”, the AK estimates in this report.
