Kosovo police have confirmed that a case of violence occurred at the Gjakova Hospital, while suggesting that the woman who has practiced violence against her husband has mental problems.
Kosovo Police spokesman for the Gjakova region Nyret Djurkaj confirmed that the case has occurred on January 14th.
By 1401. 2022 about 3:00 p.m., the suspect physically attacked the victim (her husband), who is partly unable. The case was in the Neurology Department at the hospital Issa Grezda. The victim suffered bodily injuries. The victim has been offered medical assistance, as well as the defender of the victims has been announced on the occasion, as has the social centre's employee”, he said.
Gjukaj explained that police have detained the suspected wife and that the same is hospitalised in the psych ward.
The alleged “ (wife) has been escorted to the police station, interviewed and consulted with the custody prosecutor, the same is held in police detention, but because of its mental state, with instructions from the psychiatrist doctor, the same is received in the psych ward, under the association of police officials”, he added.
Furthermore, Djurkaj indicated that police were notified through a video recording that was accepted from the electronic address at the police address, writes the telegraph.
