Christian Ericksen will be back to play at Premier League. The attacking midfielder found a team on the last day of the Merkatos, signing contracts with Branford's English team until the end of the season. The 29-year-old Danish had stopped contracting Inter on December 17th. In recent weeks, the player was trained with Ajax to recover the sports form.
As it is known, Ericksen was implanted by a subterranean cardiac defibrillator, following the cardiac arrest he suffered during the “Europacy 2020”, Finland-Denmark. Such a cardiac stimulant (ICD) was consulted by doctors, which forced him to terminate the contract with Inter. The Italian Football Federation does not allow footballers to play in similar health conditions.
On the other hand, Premier League not only did not object, nor did he ask that the player be searched by a specialised medical staff, being content with the assessment and consisting of the cardiologist selected by Brentford. Eriksen himself will be the first football player in Premier League's history to play with the defibrillator.
