Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi at the Kosovo Assembly session, which is being debated over the state of the COVID 19 pandemic, has criticised Government for not worrying about the new wave of pandemic management.

Krasniqi said the measures taken by the government are unrealistic and paradoxical.

He said the current government on one side has imposed various barriers to non-vaccinated ones, but the same barriers have subjected you without any distinction or distinction.

“Seting such measures for entry into Kosovo with only three doses of vaccination, separately to our fellow border belts with Albania, Macedonia and the Presevo Valley that until yesterday have circulated and worked perfectly normally, penalising them, constitutes a sort of nonsense that we can't even say without purpose. And when you think that the measure has been set up by a government that has not been able to produce even a tutorial video for the benefit of the vaccine, which is neither in co-ordination with world health institutions nor with the current courses in pandemic management. This proves that our government, the measures against COVID has always taken them from the impulse of fear, not management.”, he said.

Leader of The PDK criticised the Government for inadequate planning of vaccination and half of the budget for the Ministry of Health, which enables Minister Latifi to take adequate and prepared measures in the event of increasing the flow of patients with COVID into our hospitals.

We consider that it is the time of the end to have a profound reflection about what happened and what might lie ahead. Have a serious decision-making based on plan, not in your fear of how history can judge you. Because we're talking about concrete situations that require responsible decision-making. After all, failure with adequate management of the pandemic is not political failure. It's your political failure that this management turns into a state failure, and then it costs not only to the state, but also to the health of the citizens whose life protection should be at the heart of any decision and action at this time.”, Krasniqi stressed.

He said it is clearly seen that the government has no control over the measures, neither on COVID in nor on itself, and has invited it to seriously reflect on this situation.
