The Kosovo Football Federation in the continuation of many projects, particular importance, is also dedicated to improving infrastructure in stadiums.
In this direction, today Dean Gilasbey, international football management expert, was visiting Kosovo.
The British inspected the field of the stadium “Fadil Vokri”, where he did several tests. After looking closely at the field situation, he stressed that it is badly damaged and that there is an urgent need for repair, because it is overloaded and out of the front standards for such a level of football field.
He confirmed that maximum care and possible eventual rest of this field are necessary until its recovery, as it is heading towards completing the hours allowed with rates for the development of international matches.
For this reason, he suggested that because of the load and unstable climate in our country, this field will be used as little as possible and as soon as it can be converted into hybrid grass, which will then be resistant to different temperatures and will also have double stability for working hours or for matches to take place in this field.
Finally, British expert suggested that given the fact that Kosovo has only one stadium that meets the terms of UEFA's fourth category, he suggested. The WEK to deal seriously with this field in a timeline, so that it can be at the right level of match development.
