Confirms the United States: American soldiers were killed today in Kabul

There have been at least two explosions near Kabul Airport on Thursday amid a major and chaotic evacuation effort from Afghanistan, said the Pentagon, with civilians and members of US military forces among the victims of what was described as a “complex attack”.
