Nora Gjakova has won the Olympic gold medal, after defeating Sarah Leoine Cysique in the finals Monday, providing Kosovo with the third Olympic gold medal in her history.
Nora triumphed against the French in the category final of up to 57kg, winning the first Olympic medal in the career.
The 28-year-old triumph implies that Kosovo has already won two gold medals in Tokyo 2020 and three gold medals in its history at Olympic Games, so that young people in judo.
It is an Olympic story for Kosovo sports that is being written by the ladies, because after the first Olympic medal in Kosovo's history won by Majlinda Kelmendi at the Rio 2016 Olympics, Distria Krasniqi and Nora Gjakova followed her steps in Japan.
