The Karatelist from Kosovo ended up in 7th place in the category of up to 75kg.
Shaban spent three rounds, including the first round he went through without war. In the second round, he defeated Jacob Maceka of the Czech Republic, while in the third round, he won over the Turkish, Erman Eltemur, the eighth in the Olympic ranking.
Elhamiu was stopped in the quarterfinals by Ukrainian Stanislav Horuna, the fifth in the Olympic ranking #Tokyo2020.
The Kosovo contester had the chance to enter the bronze medal contest, but at the news he suffered losses from Dutch Timothy Petersen.
