Ogasawara meets with KOK leaders, surprised by the number of Kosovo athletes participating in the Olympic Games

Kosovo Olympic Committee President Ismet Krasniqi, accompanied by Secretary General Shasivar Hadziaj, his adviser, Besimi Aliti, and mission chief for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Jeton Rudari, have hosted the Japanese Embassy's post office in Kosovo today, Mitsunori Ogasawara, who was accompanied by senior political adviser Arber Miftari.
The topic of the discussion was the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, which will be held from July 23rd to August 8th in Tokyo, Japan.
President Krasniqi, thanking Ogasawara's guest for the visit, announced with preparations the KOK is making before the Olympic Games, as well as the Kosovo Olympic team that will represent the country in the world's largest sports event, hoping that Kosovo will have as many as 12 athletes in Tokyo 2020.
For his part, Ogasawawara, while commending President Krasniqi for taking over KOK leadership, expressed satisfaction that a small country like Kosovo has managed to have large numbers of athletes, who will participate in the Olympic Games, until it expressed readiness for co-operation in various forms.
The Kosovo Olympic team currently has six Olympic rates, including five of the jungles that remain only to be officially confirmed, one out of wrestling, as well as three invitations, two for swimming and one for athletics, which will lead to 9 current numbers of athletes who will represent Kosovo in Tokyo 2020.
