Kosovo doctor Salih Ahmeti has said that during the last month in Kosovo, the situation from COVIID-19 has come out grave because of increasing the number of infections in younger 40-60s and pregnant women.
According to the doctor, one of the causes of an increase in infection is the country's ongoing British virus, and it turns out that it spreads much faster and causes serious complications to the point of death even among young people.
The British variable is turning heavier. We note that this virus is more widespread, whether between family members or other contacts, provides far more serious complications, with a very severe lung touch and other organs at the risk of the sufferer's life. It has been noted that it endangers young age, we have many cases of deaths from 40-60 and the touch of pregnant women”, the doctor” explained, he told Euronews Albania.
While naming the recently taken restrictive measures in Kosovo as necessary, the doctor said the mass journey of Kosovo Albanians towards Albania over the weekend increases the risk of spreading the virus.
