Jesse Lingard wants to leave Manchester United in January after abandoning talks on the contract with the club.
Lingard rejected United's offer in October, which is thought to have less value than his current agreement at Old Tuffford and 28-year-old has no plans to reopen negotiations.
Lingard would prefer to borrow again in January after enjoying a successful period in West Ham in the second half of last season and then end its 22-year relationship with United when his contract ends in late June.
He will be able to leave as a free player in the summer and could open talks with foreign clubs from January 1st, as he has already drawn great interest from Barcelona and AC Milan. A representative from Lingard's camp is thought to have travelled to Spain for talks with clubs last week.
United rejected demands by six teams last summer, and Lingard stayed at Old Tuffford after being given more assurances for more time by coach Ole Gunnar Solskyar.
