Kosovo's National U17 left for Austria today, where it holds qualifying matches for the European Championship from October 6th to October 12th.
The U17 Dardans over the past two days have held exercises at the FFK complex in Hyvali, until tomorrow they will hold their first match against Austria at Traiskirchen at 6:30.
The second Kosovo U17 match will play Slovenia on October 9th at 11:00 in Lindbann, until the same city on October 12th holds the last match against the Faroe Islands at 15:30.
On the eve of departure for Austria, selective Education Abazi has voiced optimism that his boys will manage to perform good games and receive positive results.
The field on the team is very good. Even though we've only had two exercises with this compound of players, we've been trying to do our best and prepare the team for the first match against Austria. However, our goal is not to lose our fights because the group's first two qualify away. We have a good player fund, even though some players we plan to have for these qualifications have been unable to collect because of lack of documentation. Anyway, we travel with optimism and I hope our fate is on our side. It is known that Austria and Slovenia are traditional teams in European football, but we have analyzed several of their matches and will do our best to have the most dignified” performance, Abazi said.
