The right-wing defender of the National of Kosovo, Mergim Vojvoda, is ready to take a major step in his career, as sources for Supersport confirm the deal on the transfer to Serina A has been reached.
The same sources confirm that the 25-year-old defender has a full accord with the Turin club and is expected tomorrow to travel to the Italian town to conduct occasional medical visits before signing the contract.
Currently, no details of the transfer are disclosed, while confirming that the Italian club already has an agreement not only with Vojvodina but also the Belgian club Standard Liezhi, which has authorised the defender to travel to Turin to complete the transfer.
The Vojvoda exile has grown to the young people of Standard, but it has migrated to multiple clubs like Carl Zeiss Jana, Sint-Truidese and Mouscron, before it was returned to Liezh last summer and turned into undisputed title.
The 25-year-old rightist defender has also been titled in the formation of the National of Kosovo, with which he numbers 24 meetings and a landmark goal, while earlier he has also worn Albania's U21 fan for a total of 7 meetings.
At Turin's Vojvoda team, another Kosovo football player, goalkeeper Samir Wolfani, who renewed the contract to stay another season as the first substitute for Italian Sirigu.
