Kosovo's new national football player, Lirim Kastrati, has signed for Croatian giant Dinamo Zagreb in February this year, newspaper Sheshi reports.
He has had a great season with Zagreb Lokomotive, which for the first time in history qualified for the Champions League, as he suffered losses last night in Croatia's Cup final against Rijeka.
In an interview for “Artena Sportive” in RTK, Kastrati has also spoken of the National of Kosovo and of rumours that he could join the Nationale of Albania, given that he has not yet earned the trust of Coach Challandes in the official match.
That's where I can always help I'll be ready. No matter the A National or U21. I have chosen Kosovo and am proud to be part of this national. I'm constantly in touch with trainers Bernard Challandes and Rafet Precazi. Always when I come to play for Kosovo I do my best and try to achieve better results. Possible passage to Albania? No, there's nothing real. I have no contact for the Albanian National for a year and a half. When I have decided to play for Kosovo, I have decided with my heart and I never question that decision and regret it. I'm born in Kosovo and I have Kosovo blood and I'm always proud of my selection”, Kastrati is expressed away.
