Kelmendi for dialogue: No letter should be written without American presence

Former Kosovo Parliament President Ramiz Kelmendi has said that in dialogue with Serbia no letter should be written without American presence.

Kelmendi has stressed that the Kosovo side must set the visa liberalisation issue before Lajcak and Borelli as a condition.

Furthermore, he has said that the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia should take place in Washington, where the US president should be present.

“The closure of multi-year-old engagement of the entire local political spectrum, of international EU friends and in particular that of the United States did not happen in Brussels, but must happen exclusively in Washington and with the presence of the president of the United States and his administration. Even in Washington, during the Historical Act of Signing the Agreement, participation of all political leaders is necessary (as in Rambouillet).

It should be understood that this agreement is not the Individual Institution signing, because for this it should first agree with the prime minister with the LDK, then with the institution of the president, Coalition leaders one by one, and then deplete all possibilities of support and the leaders of opposition PDK parties (which is one of the contributors to this agreement by being for a long time in government and negotiations) and LV as the largest party, such as the civil societies and the endos, the writing of it is continuing.

Kelmendi says preparing the deal should necessarily include the status of the Presevo Valley.
